We tend to think that by praying, we change God. But when we pray God changes us. God is sovereign, powerful and wise, therefore when we connect with God through prayer, we tap into His authority, power and wisdom. This connection then works through us and changes the way we relate to God and others and changes the way we look at the situations we find ourselves in. At Waverley we are experiencing God's sovereignty, power and wisdom individually and in our corporate life. If we pray, we will experience God even more and be changed in a deeper way.
