Prayer Matters?: He Walks With Me and Talks With Me

Quite simply, for followers of Jesus Christ prayer is the best way to communicate with God. Prayer is the vehicle for daily dialogue with the One who created us. The importance of daily communication through prayer cannot be overestimated. It is so important that it is mentioned over 250 times in Scripture.
Many of us have started and stopped many times in our effort to build a consistent prayer life and it leads to futility. In this message, Mark will teach us how the idea is not just that we learn about prayer; the idea is that we roll up our sleeves and actually practice it, actually grow in our ability to pray. We will look at Paul’s foundational prayer, which really is a core skill for anybody who is a follower of Jesus, and it's a skill we need to return to every now and then.
It's built around this short verse in the Bible - 1 Thessalonians 5:17. "Pray continually."
