LAUNCH PRESCHOOL
Proverbs 22:6 “ Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
We have entitled our Preschool church ‘Launch’ as it is our goal to lay a solid foundation of faith for our young children. We are using a preschool curriculum called ‘In the Beginning...Growing into a Life of Faith.’
It is our desire to see our preschoolers learn these foundational truths:
- God made me
- God loves me
- Jesus wants to be my friend
We see this happening through intentional Bible teaching, worship, structured play, and activities that build on the lessons learned with life applications.
We are excited to have Sandee Wilshire and Maria Newman as our preschool teachers, they will be leading along with a team of volunteers to teach our preschoolers this year!
UPSIDE DOWN KIDS CHURCH K-5
We are using a curriculum called 252Basics taken from Luke 2:52, “And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”
We want our kids to learn these three foundational truths:
- I need to make the wise choice
- I can trust God no matter what
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
Each month we will focus on a different virtue. With different bible stories, worship songs & activities to teach the kids a truth that they can remember forever.
Your children will be in small groups with their peers and consistent leaders throughout the year. During small group time these leaders will connect with your children as friends and mentors. Your children will spend time with their small groups applying the lessons to their lives through engaging activities.
Our large group will be a time of high impact as we lead the children in worship and have guest storytellers to teach the bible in captivating and memorable ways.
Crystal Martens will be overseeing and leading a huge team of people this year in our Upside Down Kids Church time! |
