Helen grew up in Scotland and emigrated to Canada in 1968. She has worked in various fields over the course of her life and retired from the University of Manitoba where she worked in Administration in a couple of different faculties over the course of 18 years.
Helen has three grown children; Samantha married to Mark living in Calgary; Jason and Devin living here in Winnipeg. Her stepdaughters Cat & April also live in Winnipeg.
Helen enjoys winter holidays in hot places, reading, swimming, exercising and more recently began line dancing that she enjoys immensely. Hanging with one of her 10 grand kids is another favorite pastime.
